Your mission, roles and responsibilities

Essential responsibilities and duties

The Supplier Quality Leader is in charge of developing supplier QCD performance and 

managing the supplier's performance (timing, quality, delivery, service) during program development to launch for a defined list of suppliers.

The main missions of the role are:

  • Ensure/organize and coordinate the related Supplier Development activity, based on inputs from assessments, supplier nomination committee, Program or Series escalation.
  • Manage Quality claims and ensure resolution through communication and assistance to the supplier.
  • Work closely with suppliers to develop corrective and preventive action plans (CAPA) to address quality issues.
  • Perform Supplier assessment according to FAURECIA standards and supports the Commodity buyer to obtain efficient action plan.
  • Deploys APQP related to development phase (or current production phase) of Bought out parts following Faurecia Purchasing requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with  IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, or other relevant industry standards at supplier end.
  • Manages the process qualification at supplier (control plan and quality basics implementation, mass production trial & process Audit)
  • Monitors PPAP for All Child parts. Assist in supplier qualification, onboarding, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Manages progress/convergence plan with low performance suppliers involved in program in collaboration with Plant Quality Team.

Your profile and competencies to succeed

Minimum Education Level:

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering

Experience:

  • Minimum 8 to 10 years experience in industry in Quality and Supplier Quality Function.

Nice to have:

  • VDA  Awareness and Third Party Audit Expereince

Skills and competencies:

  • Project Management Methodology ( Must Requirement )
  • Stamping Commodity Knowledge( Must Requirement )
  • Proficiency in quality tools such as FMEA, PPAP, APQP, 8D & SPC. ( Must Requirement )
  • Supplier audit process ( Must Requirement )
  • Quality & productivity management
  • Process knowledge
