Job Description:

We are hiring a Chartered Accountant in Ahmedabad.

Job Title: Chartered Accountant (CA) – Real Estate
Location: Mithakhali, Ahmedabad
Reports To: CFO/Finance Manager/Director

Salary: Up to 7 LPA
Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Analysis:
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and key metrics.
Provide insights and recommendations to management based on financial performance.

Budgeting & Forecasting:
Assist in the preparation and management of annual budgets.
Work with different departments to gather data and provide forecasts.
Monitor actual financial performance against budgets and highlight discrepancies.

Taxation & Compliance:
Ensure compliance with relevant taxation laws, including direct and indirect taxes such as GST, income tax, etc.
Handle the timely filing of tax returns and ensure adherence to statutory deadlines.
Liaise with tax authorities and external auditors as needed.
Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies, including RERA (Real Estate Regulatory Authority), Companies Act, and other applicable regulations.

Internal Control & Audit:
Establish and maintain strong internal financial controls.
Conduct internal audits to ensure accuracy in financial reporting and adherence to financial policies.
Coordinate with external auditors and facilitate the auditing process.

Cash Flow & Treasury Management:
Monitor and manage the company's cash flow, ensuring liquidity for operational needs and project funding.
Manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, and investors for project financing and working capital needs.
Optimize working capital by efficient management of receivables, payables, and inventory.

Project Costing & Profitability Analysis:
Review and analyze the cost structure of real estate projects to ensure profitability.
Track and monitor project costs, comparing actuals to budgets, and ensure financial efficiency in project execution.
Evaluate return on investment (ROI) for ongoing and upcoming projects.

Fund Management & Financial Strategy:
Assist in financial planning, fundraising, and investment strategies.
Manage project financing, including debt restructuring, loan management, and equity investments.
Participate in long-term strategic financial planning to support business growth.

Accounting & ERP Systems:
Oversee the implementation and operation of accounting systems (such as Tally, SAP, or Oracle) for the accurate recording of financial transactions.
Ensure the maintenance of accurate records in accordance with Indian GAAP and IFRS standards.
Implement and manage ERP systems for real-time financial reporting and analysis.

Liaison & Communication:
Serve as the point of contact with various stakeholders including auditors, tax consultants, bankers, legal advisors, and government authorities.
Work closely with other departments such as sales, legal, and operations to ensure alignment of financial goals with business objectives.

Ad-hoc Financial Support:
Provide financial insights for business decisions such as land acquisitions, joint ventures, and new project launches.
Perform any additional financial tasks as management requests.

Qualifications & Skills:
A Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
