Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Bending Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating CNC press brake/bending machines for sheet metal forming. The role requires interpreting technical drawings, selecting appropriate tools, setting up machines, and ensuring precision and quality in bending operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC bending/press brake machines to bend metal sheets and components as per drawings and specifications.

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders.

  • Program and adjust machine settings such as bending angle, back gauge, pressure, and punch/die alignment.

  • Conduct test runs and first-piece inspections to ensure setup accuracy.

  • Perform measurements using tools like vernier calipers, micrometers, and angle finders to ensure product conformity.

  • Ensure that finished products meet quality standards and dimensional tolerances.

  • Maintain equipment by performing routine cleaning and minor maintenance.

  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

  • Collaborate with the production team and quality control for continuous process improvement.


Essential Qualifications:

  • ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or any relevant trade.

  • Certification or formal training in CNC operations is a plus.

Skills Required:

  • Proven experience in CNC bending/press brake machine operation (Amada, Trumpf, LVD, or similar).

  • Strong ability to read mechanical drawings and blueprints.

  • Knowledge of tooling, dies, and material types (especially mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum).

  • Good understanding of bending parameters and machine programming basics.

  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality output.

  • Basic troubleshooting and machine maintenance skills.
