Role: Sr FuSa Engineer

Required Technical Skill Set: EV / ePT / Inverter Functional Safety

Key Responsibilities/ Desired Competencies:

TCS to support in Inverter - Functional Safety Requirement - knowledge of ePowertrain, Functional safety (ISO

Highly skilled Functional Safety Engineer to lead the safety compliance for design, development and validation of safety critical Inverter platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in ISO 26262, architecture of EV, Inverter and the full safety lifecycle from concept to validation.

  • Lead and execute functional safety activities in compliance with ISO 26262 Part 4 & Part 6
  • Gap Analysis for existing Technical safety concept (TSC)
  • Gap Analysis for Software safety requirements (SSRs) at BSW, Application SW
  • Conduct safety analysis at system, software levels
  • Update SSRs, SW architecture
  • Update safety mechanisms and configurations based on microcontroller safety manual
  • Support hardware team for FMEDA and update SSRs / HSI
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, software, systems)
  • Support safety verification and validation by writing test cases, including fault injection testing
  • Support safety case documentation.
  • Review requirements and test item documentation,
