Job Title: Manager – Electrical Production Facility (Marine & Offshore Systems)

Location: Mangalore, India

Overview

Aries Overseas Services is seeking a technically strong and proactive Manager for one of our client to lead the establishment and long-term operations of a modern electrical production facility supporting marine and offshore applications. The role involves full-cycle responsibility from facility setup and commissioning to compliance management, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities


• Plan, design, and execute the establishment of an electrical production facility including infrastructure layout, power distribution systems, and manufacturing equipment installation.
• Liaise with authorities such as the Electrical Inspectorate, Pollution Control Board, Factory Inspectorate, and Fire Department to obtain necessary approvals and ensure adherence to regulatory standards

• Coordinate with classification societies (ABS, DNV, BV, IRS) for design approvals and product certifications in compliance with IEC, API RP 14F, and marine/offshore standards.


• Oversee daily operations post-commissioning including production performance, maintenance activities, safety compliance, and workforce development.


• Implement and sustain ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 systems, ensuring quality, environmental, and occupational safety performance.


• Manage project schedules, budgets, and progress reporting to ensure timely and cost-effective execution.


• Build, mentor, and lead a skilled engineering and technical team promoting a culture of accountability, innovation, and operational excellence.


• Manage vendor coordination and contractor execution to ensure efficient procurement, installation, and commissioning of equipment and systems.

Qualifications & Experience
• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering (M.E./MBA preferred)


• Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical manufacturing or marine/offshore system environments with proven experience in facility setup and operations.


• Strong knowledge of LV/MV electrical systems, marine control panels, and industrial automation.


• Experience in equipment retrofit and obsolescence management is preferred.


• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills
