The role will be focused towards assisting in the design and execution of the new centres along with the design management of the current centres.Reporting toProject Designer > Senior Designer > Design DirectorLocation: MumbaiKey ResponsibilitiesDesign + ConstructionDesigning and delivering to the highest quality through all stagesConstant design evaluation with physical models, 3D-modelling and renderingAssisting in preparation of presentation drawings and otherwise assist in presentations both internally & externallyMarket research/sourcing for materials, products and construction techniquesAssist in the design development for projectsAssisting the team in project execution with periodic design/progress reportsConstruction drawings and documents along with liaising with vendors and contractorsAssisting the required changes in the individual tenant spaces while maintaining design coherency. This will involve cross team collaboration with the internal sales and operations team for designing and executing potential client requirements.Researching and understanding from Dextrus' operations and marketing teams on how to create better designed centres that enable utility and community engagementAssisting in the preparation as-built and handover drawings and documents once construction is completedProject ManagementFollow all construction management processes to ensure design conformation in executionAid timely execution of design, procurement process and carry out quality checks at site.Assist in production of periodic project documentation with the aid of design/progress reportsQualificationsBachelor/ Diploma degree in architecture or interior design3-6 years of experience in an architecture/ interior design practiceUnderstanding of architectural design, detail and techniquesShould be able to execute quick and accurate 2D & 3D design and construction documentsAbility to work freely with minimum supervision with adherence to systems and proceduresAble to communicate design ideas verbally and visuallyCurious and willing, ability to take guidance and work as a teamProblem-solving, judgement, time-management and organisational skills are essentialTechnical Skills:Fluent user of AutoCAD, Rhino, Vray renderingFluent user of Microsoft office (Excel particularly)Fluent user of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)What are we looking for?Dextrus looks for people with an entrepreneurial spirit with a never say die attitude.
