Provis Technologies Private Limited is looking for a skilled and passionate
PHP WordPress Developer
with 1 to 4 years of experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, maintaining, and enhancing websites using WordPress and WooCommerce platforms. You will play a key role in turning concepts into functional, scalable, and secure web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirement Analysis and Planning

  • Understand and document project requirements, including features and design preferences.
  • Break down requirements into tasks and create timelines for execution.

Research and Problem Solving

  • Identify feature gaps and explore available plugins, custom solutions, or third-party tools.
  • Evaluate solutions based on performance, compatibility, and scalability.

Frontend Development

  • Convert Figma or Photoshop designs into responsive HTML/CSS using Bootstrap.
  • Integrate interactive elements using JavaScript based on UI/UX requirements.

WordPress Website Development

  • Create pages, posts, and custom post types.
  • Organize content using categories and subcategories.
  • Set up and configure WordPress themes and plugins based on the project design.

Page Builder Implementation

  • Use Elementor or WP Bakery to develop custom page layouts.
  • Configure content blocks, widgets, and animations according to design needs.

Essential Plugin Configuration and Security Setup

  • Install and configure plugins for caching, SEO, backups, and security.
  • Maintain regular updates and monitor site performance.

Website Migration

  • Handle development-to-live and live-to-development migrations.
  • Backup and restore WordPress files and databases using FTP or backup tools.

Required Skills and Expertise:

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in PHP and WordPress development.
  • Experience with WooCommerce and custom plugin/theme development.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
  • Experience with MySQL and WordPress database structures.
  • Familiarity with Git and version control.
  • Understanding of WordPress best practices for performance and security.

Knowledge

  • WordPress core functionalities such as hooks, filters, and custom post types.
  • REST APIs and integration with frontend elements.
  • Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
