IoTechWorld Avigation Pvt Ltd, Gurgaon is a drone manufacturing company ) and is seeking a passionate and skilled Senior Artificial Intelligence Design Engineer to join our team in building next-generation Drone solutions.

Job Summary

We are looking for engineers with 3+ years of hands-on experience in
Computer Vision, Visual SLAM, and Sensor Fusion
to join our autonomy and perception team. The role involves working on real-time vision-based navigation, multi-sensor data fusion, and AI model integration for autonomous systems.

Also working DSP skills for sensor data pre and post processing, optimization. knowledge of AI/ML framework like ONNX.

You'll work closely with the onboard software, AI/ML, and hardware teams to implement and optimize perception pipelines on embedded platforms like Nvidia for real-world deployment scenarios in drone applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and optimize
    SLAM pipeline, AI/ML framework and algorithms along with hands on AI/ML framework,
    feature tracking, and 3D reconstruction pipelines.
  • Work on multi-sensor fusion algorithms (e.g., IMU + Vision + Thermal+ LiDAR) to enhance localization accuracy.
  • Perform real-time image processing and feature extraction from high-resolution sensors like RGB cameras.
  • Integrate AI/ML models into real-time pipelines for object recognition, localization, or environment understanding.
  • Develop and deploy software for onboard processors (Jetson, CM4, SBCs, etc.).
  • Handle image alignment and georeferencing using aerial/satellite map datasets.
  • Optimize algorithms for low-latency, resource-constrained environments.
  • Collaborate with hardware and AI teams for full-stack integration and field testing.
  • Good exposure in using MATLAB and Python Language.
  • Working knowledge of embedded system, RTOS and other MCU is a plus

● Collaborate with hardware teams for board bring-up and debugging.

● Good knowledge on peripheral Interface protocols: I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, USB, etc.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of C++, MATLAB and Python for robotics or computer vision applications.
  • Proficiency with OpenCV, NumPy, and computer vision libraries.
  • Experience with SLAM frameworks like ORB-SLAM2/3, RTAB-Map, or custom pipelines.
  • Understanding of sensor fusion, Kalman Filters, or visual-inertial odometry.
  • Familiarity with embedded platforms such as NVIDIA Jetson.
  • Experience working with Linux and real-time data processing.
  • Prior experience working with satellite/aerial imagery or geospatial data.
  • Exposure to ROS, RTOS, SLAM backends.
  • Experience with deep learning models for vision tasks using TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Experience with tools like GTSAM, Ceres Solver, or g2o for optimization-based SLAM.
  • Solid understanding of electronics and microcontroller systems.

● Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

● B.Tech/M.Tech in Electronics and Communication.

● 3+ years of experience in AI/ML design and development.
