Deejay Coconut Farm Pvt. Ltd., established under the guidance of the late Prof. Anthony Davis, a UN expert, is located in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, on a 200 acre plot. Our breeding farms have expanded to approximately 675 acres, housing around 30,000 Deejay Dwarf Mother Palms. With over 40 years of dedicated experience and research in coconut hybridization, Deejay has positively impacted the lives of over 40,000 farmers.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Farm Manager located on the farm near Madurai. The Farm Manager will oversee daily farm operations, including managing irrigation systems, supervising farm workers, and ensuring the health and productivity of crops. Responsibilities also include planning and implementing agricultural activities, maintaining equipment, managing coconut breeding operations, and liaising with suppliers and customers.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Farm Management and Agriculture
  • Knowledge of Irrigation practices
  • Experience working with Farms and managing farm operations
  • Experience in nutrient management and fertigation

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A degree in Agriculture or relate

Good language skils; English, Tamil and Hindi
