Job Description:

We have an opening for the position of Testing Engineer for Reputed Company for  Mahape ( Navi Mumbai) location.

Key Points :

  • Required at least two years in the relevant area as below.
  • Fresher not required
  • Experience in testing laboratory or certification agency or inspection agency preferred
  • Alternatively, maybe from manufacturing, but basic knowledge of testing needed

Relevant area of experience:

Testing and certification of:

  • Flameproof Equipment
  • Explosionproof equipment
  • Hazardous Area Equipment
  • IEC 60079 Series of standards
  • Ingress Protection Testing
  • As per ATEX / IECEx requirements

Competency requirements:

  • General Exposure to ATEX and IECEx Schemes
  • General exposure to Group and Zone Classifications
  • Knowledge of EX Protection Methods - Electrical (protection type d, e, m, n, p)
  • Reading and understanding test method requirements of IEC , 1,2,7,15,18 and 31
  • IEC/EN 60529 – Ingress Protection Basics and tests
  • Temperature Measurement Tests under supervision.
  • Testing of cable glands as per Standard requirements
