The Team: Responsible for proactively sourcing energy data directly from oil and gas operators and/or service companies through frequent telephone contact.

The Impact: The candidate will be required to sourcing drilling summaries and tour reports.

What's in it for you:

• Works under general supervision and within a team i.e. Upstream energy including wells operations, rig activities, etc. Requires some judgment or evaluation of a variety of factors.
• Able to independently utilize web sites, AI-powered data aggregation tools, and industry publications for relevant information.
• Responsible for day-to-day sourcing, capturing, matching, identification, and validating/creating relationships between the scoured tour reports and well data using advanced data analysis techniques.
• Address internal and/or external customer questions/requests related to Offset Drilling Data, leveraging AI-driven data visualization and reporting tools to enhance understanding and decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Obtain management/owner approvals from companies within assigned region to source information and obtain Tour Reports, Drilling Reports, Mud Recaps, and Bit Records.
• Working with Sr Analyst establish, cultivate, and maintain cooperative relationships with oil and gas and/or service company contacts to source drilling and completion information on a regular basis.
• Become the subject matter expert in assigned region about activity trends, company strategies, and emerging AI-driven analytics tools for upstream operations optimization.
• Assist operations analysts with questions and exception handling of well information using automated data validation and anomaly detection techniques.

What We're looking for:

• Graduate in any field but having Industry experience i.e upstream energy exploration & production or University degree in Geology or (Bachelors or equivalent) in Engineering/Sciences or related field.
• Knowledge of Data Management, Data Analysis, and Curation in similar industries, including experience with AI-assisted data interpretation and predictive analytics.
• Strong proficiency in Python for automation, data processing, and developing machine learning models is highly preferred.
• Understanding of cloud-based data solutions and AI integration to streamline data workflows and reporting processes.

Experience & Exposure:

• Minimum 4-6 years experience in the upstream energy industry or equivalent type/nature of data analysis & processing.
• Ability to proactively establish and cultivate new industry relationships quickly.
• Excellent telephone/email etiquette with the aptitude to make calls or connect via emails for data/information sourcing.
• Experience working with AI-enabled data platforms or tools to enhance insight generation and operational efficiency is a plus.
