About Position

Senior Associate - level Position in ESG Advisory practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute consulting projects for different clients related to ESG/ Sustainability Advisory across areas such as ESG Strategic Direction covering stakeholder engagement and materiality assessment, ESG Policy and Governance Framework, Sustainability Reporting & Disclosures based on different frameworks, GHG Accounting, Decarbonization Roadmap using SBTi guidelines, Sustainable Financing, Supply chain, etc.
  • Undertake activities required for execution such as research on companies and ESG practices, peer benchmarking, developing data collection templates and writing of ESG/ Sustainability reports.
  • Ensure timely delivery of all project deliverables as per agreed timelines and client satisfaction.
  • Travel to client location as may be required from time to time for the project activities.
  • Work in tandem with the other team members and any other internal and external stakeholders such as design team, subject matter experts, etc.
  • Assist the practice lead/ manager in practice development activities such as preparing pre-sales pitches, approach papers, point of views, articles, newsletter, etc.
  • Keeping abreast of ESG trends and regulatory requirements in focus geographies
  • Any other support that may be required from time to time for the development and growth of the practice.

Qualification and Experience requirements:

  • Graduate/ post-graduation (preferably) in Environment or related field.
  • 1-3 years of post-qualification experience with a suitable mix of consulting (preferably) and industry experience.

Desired Attributes:

  • Hands-on experience, knowledge and understanding of ESG/ sustainability concepts and frameworks like GRI, SASB, TCFD, etc.
  • Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Good writing and analytical skills
  • Comfortable to engage in multiple projects simultaneously
  • Highly flexible and quick learner to adopt and apply new methodology/ approach
  • Open to travel for project execution
  • Excellent communicator and good team player
