Business Analyst-Commercial lending

As a Senior Business Analyst,
- Lead migration activities from legacy lending platforms to FIS CLS.
- Contribute to building the data migration strategy
- Collaborate closely with BO operations and IT teams to design mapping rules and logic for migration
- Support BO operations teams for data review and enrichments
- Test the migration data loaded to CLS in a controlled environment across various testing phases including UAT
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and completeness during the migration lifecycle
- Define and perform end to end dress rehearsals and production migration
Qualifications and Profile
The position requires a minimum of 8 years of relevant Business Analysis experience in commercial lending domain
Education Required:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or related field.
Primary skills
Domain & Functional knowledge:
Strong understanding of the commercial lending operations, essentially loan servicing covering end-end knowledge of funding process, paydowns including prepayments, fees management, assignment, sub-participation, loan renewals, unpaid management, contract creation, NOSTRO reconciliation etc.
Understanding of various modules of loan systems
Loan Servicing Product knowledge:
Hands on experience on FIS Commercial Lending Solutions (CLS) or ACBS, or any other equivalent system (like LoanIQ)
Business Analysis skills:
Hands-on experience in documenting, analyzing, and refining business requirements, and convert them into functional requirements
- Experience in building process documents, operating procedures and process workflow
- Good understanding of E2E view of commercial lending ecosystem and system integration
Good understanding of Software Development Life cycle, and various phases of software testing
Should be able to assist in the enhancement of systems, notably Users Acceptance Tests (UAT) and pre-production testing
Familiar with SQL basics
- Analyze existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement, leading to more efficient IT systems.
- Identify the operational risk in the operating model and analyze the emerging risk while implementing the new system
- Good understanding of various artifacts like BRD, FRD, Requirement Traceability Matrix, etc.

- Stakeholder's management: ability to identify, analyze, and manage the expectations and requirements of stakeholders. Establish and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders to ensure their support and cooperation.

- Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
