Job Summary

The Finance Controller will oversee the financial operations of the organization, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial planning. This role is responsible for managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, audits, and internal controls to support the company's financial health and long-term goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
  • Analyze financial performance, variances, trends, and key business drivers.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to management based on financial insights.

Financial Reporting

  • Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and statutory requirements.
  • Oversee consolidation, financial closing, and reporting activities.

Internal Controls & Compliance

  • Implement, monitor, and strengthen internal financial controls and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws, corporate policies, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Coordinate with external auditors for statutory and internal audits.

Cash Flow & Treasury Management

  • Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to support operations.
  • Oversee banking relationships and optimize fund utilization.
  • Manage investments, financing, and treasury operations.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments for budgeting, cost optimization, and financial planning.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting.
  • Professional certifications such as CA, CPA, CMA or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • Proven experience (typically 12+ years) in financial management or controlling roles.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax laws, and corporate finance principles.
  • Hands-on experience with Zoho Books and financial tools.
  • Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
