The role To provide design, modelling and detail drawing capability for Vacuum products and Vacuum Solution. They must implement and Execute engineering change for continuous improvement of existing product. The job holder is expected to work within a multi-disciplined engineering team. Main tasks and responsibilities
  • Review and understand the provided design specification.
  • Update designs for Engineering Changes (ECR) as required and Take follow up with the required Teams for The ECR Approval.
  • Create 3D models using Inventor.
  • Create all required general arrangement, installation, part, and other required drawings using Inventor based on the 3D model.
  • Create BOM and Routings for the design in SAP.
  • Work with manufacturing to ensure manufacturability of the design.
  • Review and update design through 1st Time Build process.
  • Update designs for Engineering Changes (ECR) as required.
·    Must have experience in base frame, support structures & pressure vessels design and manufacturing.   Skills and experience ·    Diploma with 7 yrs. or BE with 5 yrs. of experience in project execution in an engineering or product organisation      ·    Software: Inventor & Vault
  • Capable and experienced in designing mechanical systems.
  • Able to read & understand P&ID, GA, Layouts etc.
  • Knowledge of Welding symbols
  • Design of industrial Products includes-
  • Design of base frames and mounting frames
  • Design of supports, brackets, flexible hoses
  • Design for manufacturing and assembly
  • Design of casting models
  • Design considering accessibility for service and ease of assembly
  • Expert in part and assembly drawings
  • Comfortable working with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Experience in SAP is an added advantage
