Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced
Java Designer
with strong expertise in Java development and
telecom domain experience
. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of software design principles, system architecture, and end-to-end solution delivery within telecom or OSS/BSS systems. You will be responsible for designing, reviewing, and developing complex Java-based applications aligned with enterprise architecture and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and enhance enterprise-grade Java applications for telecom domain projects.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and architecture components.
  • Participate in
    system design, code reviews, and performance optimization
    .
  • Collaborate with product owners, architects, and development teams across multiple locations.
  • Ensure high-quality code delivery and adherence to TCS coding standards and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the development and deployment phases.
  • Contribute to technical documentation, design artifacts, and review sessions.

Must-Have Skills:

  • 8–10 years
    of strong experience in
    Java / J2EE application development
    .
  • Proven expertise in
    system design, solution architecture, and high-level technical documentation
    .
  • Hands-on experience in frameworks such as
    Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA
    .
  • Experience in
    RESTful API development, Microservices, and Design Patterns
    .
  • Mandatory
    experience in Telecom domain
    (OSS/BSS, Mediation, Billing, or Network systems).
  • Solid understanding of
    SQL / Oracle / MySQL databases
    .
  • Proficiency with
    Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines
    .

Good-to-Have Skills:

  • Exposure to
    Cloud technologies (AWS/Azure)
    and containerization tools (
    Docker, Kubernetes
    ).
  • Knowledge of
    Kafka, RabbitMQ
    , or similar messaging frameworks.
  • Experience with
    Agile/Scrum methodologies
    .
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
