We are looking for a seasoned and passionate Senior/ Mobile Developer (SD3) with 3 to 8 years of professional experience in mobile app development, including extensive hands-on experience with React Native. You will play a leadership role in designing, developing, and scaling high-quality mobile applications for customers in the Insurance and BFSI sector.

As a senior engineer, you will drive architectural decisions, mentor junior developers, and ensure best practices are upheld throughout the development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and enhancement of complex, scalable React Native mobile applications.
  • Architect and implement modern, secure, and maintainable mobile solutions across Android and iOS platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, UX/UI designers, QA, and backend engineers.
  • Define and enforce coding standards, mobile architecture best practices, and performance benchmarks.
  • Integrate third-party services, SDKs, and native modules with efficiency and care.
  • Ensure app performance, reliability, and security standards are met.
  • Drive code reviews, CI/CD implementation, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Manage app store deployments, release planning, and troubleshooting production issues.
  • Mentor and support junior and mid-level mobile developers in the team.

Required Qualifications

  • 3-8 years of hands-on experience in mobile application development.
  • Minimum 3 years of React Native development experience with deep technical understanding.
  • Proven track record of delivering cross-platform apps in production, preferably in the Insurance or BFSI domain.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
  • Expertise in state management (Redux/MobX), navigation patterns, and asynchronous data handling.
  • Familiarity with React Native CLI, Expo, and native code integration (Android/iOS).
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and backend integration.
  • Experience with mobile architecture patterns like MVVM, MVP, or Clean Architecture.
  • Thorough knowledge of UI/UX best practices, accessibility, and mobile platform guidelines.
  • Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments with tools like Git, Jira, and Confluence.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Firebase, push notifications, deep linking, and real-time data sync.
  • Expertise in performance profiling, crash analytics, and debugging tools.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD workflows using Fastlane, Bitrise, or GitHub Actions.
  • Exposure to for web and monorepo-based architecture is a plus.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
