Duties

• Conduct comprehensive skin examinations and assess patient concerns with precision and empathy.
• Diagnose dermatological conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, acne, skin infections, and malignant lesions using clinical evaluation and medical imaging when necessary.
• Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating advanced procedures like botulinum toxin treatments, cryotherapy, laser therapy, and minor surgical interventions including suturing.
• Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Epic or similar platforms to document patient histories, treatment plans, and follow-up care efficiently.
• Perform medical imaging reviews including CT scans or other diagnostic radiology assessments relevant to dermatological conditions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including allergists, oncologists, plastic surgeons, and primary care providers to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients on skin health maintenance, preventive care strategies, and lifestyle modifications through health coaching techniques.
• Stay current with emerging dermatology research, participate in clinical trials when applicable, and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives aligned with NCQA standards.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by maintaining strict confidentiality of patient records and sensitive information.
• Participate in outpatient clinics or hospital-based inpatient care settings providing acute pain management or post-operative care as needed.
• Engage in triage activities for urgent dermatological cases and coordinate discharge planning for hospitalized patients requiring ongoing skin care management.

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification or eligibility in Dermatology from an accredited program.
• Proven experience working with EMR systems such as Epic or equivalent electronic documentation platforms.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dermatology and physiology of skin conditions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in performing dermatological procedures including suturing, biopsies, cryotherapy, laser treatments, and ostomy care if applicable.
• Experience in outpatient clinics as well as inpatient hospital settings; familiarity with Level I Trauma Centers or Level II Trauma Centers is advantageous.
• Ability to interpret medical imaging such as CT scans relevant to complex skin or systemic conditions affecting the integumentary system.
• Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach toward diverse populations; experience in health coaching is a plus.
• Basic life support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications in phototherapy or interventional radiology procedures are beneficial.
• Knowledge of CPT coding for billing purposes related to dermatological procedures is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills for managing multiple patients simultaneously while maintaining high-quality care standards. Pay: ₹25, ₹40,000.00 per month
