Overall Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sr Specialist Software Engineer to join our dynamic team to design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain high-quality software solutions within the Palantir ecosystem. Youll ensure efficient delivery processes and production support with a strong emphasis on automation, scalability, and adherence to industry best practices.
Key Roles and Responsibilities: Design, Development, and Coding- Architect and implement data pipelines and applications using Palantir Foundry, WorkSpace, and other relevant technologies.
- Apply programming languages (e.g., Python, TypeScript, SQL, Spark) to build scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Ensure all software components are designed and coded to meet performance and security standards.
- Design domain-specific functions and implement high-quality, secure code.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to gather and review software requirements.
- Provide accurate estimates and design specifications.
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to assess software interactions and integration points.
- Develop automated test plans and validate test environments, data, and results.
- Implement code fixes and enhancements based on test outcomes.
- Generate reports and documentation to support testing and debugging efforts.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application configuration and environment issues.
- Monitor system performance and proactively address potential bottlenecks.
- Facilitate and support the deployment of software solutions into production environments.
This role requires an experienced professional with deep technical knowledge and the ability to apply organizational practices to resolve moderately complex problems. Youll work independently on expansive projects with minimal supervision and contribute to policy improvements that enhance team efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and client satisfaction.
Education and Experience- Bachelors degree (BS/BA) in Computer Science or related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in data engineering or software development.
- Experience with Palantir Foundry or similar platforms is highly desirable.
- Certifications in data engineering, cloud platforms, or Palantir tools are a plus.
