Senior Technical Architect

Position: Senior Technical Architect Location: India, Hyderabad.

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Technical Architect – .NET to lead the design and architecture of enterprise-level applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in .NET Framework, .NET Core, microservices architecture, cloud technologies (Azure), DevOps, and scalable system design. This role requires a blend of technical leadership, strategic planning, and hands-on development to ensure the successful delivery of robust software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and design scalable, high-performance applications using .NET Core, .NET Framework, and microservices.
• Define technical standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines for development teams.
• Evaluate and integrate Azure cloud services, including Azure Search, Azure Service Bus, Azure Functions, and Logic Apps, into scalable architectures.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural principles and coding standards.
• Optimize and manage databases, primarily SQL Server, with experience in PostgreSQL being a plus.
• Drive DevOps best practices, including CI/CD pipeline setup, automated deployment, and infrastructure as code.
• Oversee the development and integration of RESTful APIs, ensuring security, scalability, and efficiency.
• Lead technical discussions, design reviews, and solution assessments to ensure the best implementation strategies.
• Evaluate and implement containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) for better scalability and deployment flexibility.
• Stay ahead of emerging trends in .NET, cloud computing, and architecture patterns to enhance system design and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and business leaders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Qualifications:

• 12+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a technical architect or lead role.
• Expertise in .NET Core, .NET Framework, and C# with hands-on experience in building enterprise applications.
• Strong experience in microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and cloud-native development.
• Deep knowledge of Azure services, including Azure Functions, Service Bus, Logic Apps, and Azure Search.
• Solid experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and database optimization techniques.
• Strong DevOps background, including hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (Terraform/ARM), and automation tools.
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) for deploying scalable applications.
• Solid understanding of software design patterns, DDD, clean architecture, and SOLID principles.
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks like Angular (optional but a plus).
• Knowledge of authentication protocols (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML) and security best practices.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills with a problem-solving mindset.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with API Gateway, event-driven architecture (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Exposure to multi-tenant SaaS architecture.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools (Jira, Azure DevOps).
• Experience in performance tuning and high-availability system design.
