Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines on GCP using Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Composer (Airflow), and BigQuery.
  • Build and manage ETL processes on GCP Cloud leveraging Python/Java and scripting for automation.
  • Implement batch and streaming data ingestion frameworks and ensure reliability, scalability, and performance.
  • Work with different databases (SQL and NoSQL), including on-premise and cloud solutions.
  • Apply data warehousing concepts to design efficient, scalable, and cost-effective data solutions.
  • Optimize pipelines for performance, cost, and reliability while adhering to best practices.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve data pipeline issues and ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end data solutions.

Must-Have Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with GCP services: GCS, Pub/Sub, Dataflow/Dataproc, BigQuery, and Composer (Airflow).
  • Proficiency in Python (preferred) or Java for building pipelines and automation.
  • Solid understanding of ETL development, best practices, and common challenges in GCP Cloud.
  • Experience with batch and streaming data ingestion and building end-to-end pipelines.
  • Knowledge of Databases (SQL & NoSQL) with practical experience in at least two NoSQL databases.
  • Good understanding of Data Warehouse concepts (beginner to intermediate level).
