The Role (What you will do)

  • Lead plantation of 1,00,000+ saplings annually and grow tree cover to 11 lakh trees.
  • Design and oversee soil enrichment, water management, and tree growth cycles.
  • Ensure sustainable rotational felling that protects the environment.
  • Build and manage a field team with high survival and productivity rates.
  • Report plantation progress to estate leadership with data-driven insights.

Key Results Expected (KRA – 12–24 months)

  • Achieve 90%+ survival rate of planted saplings.
  • Ensure 1 lakh+ saplings planted each year as per plan.
  • Develop and execute a rotational harvesting model ready by Year 7.
  • Increase organic soil matter and biodiversity across estate plantations.
  • Build a sustainable microclimate contributing to higher tea yields.

The Right Person (Skills & Experience)

  • 5–6 years' proven experience in tree plantation, agroforestry, or forestry projects.
  • Degree in Forestry, Agriculture, Environmental Sciences (preferred).
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Ability to work with local communities and field supervisors.
  • Passionate about green projects and connected deeply with the environment.
