Job Description
As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.

Responsibilities
As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs. Key responsibilities include-

• Application & Service Development: Design, implement, test, and deploy secure, scalable, and maintainable software for healthcare AI applications and platforms.
• Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams—including data scientists, clinicians, product managers, and fellow engineers—to translate healthcare needs into high-quality software solutions.
• Quality & Best Practices: Write clean, efficient, and thoroughly-tested code as per Oracle and health industry standards, participating in code reviews and fostering best engineering practices.
• Problem Solving: Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues within distributed healthcare platforms, ensuring robustness and reliability.
• Continuous Learning: Keep up-to-date with advancements in AI, healthcare technology, data privacy regulations (HIPAA, GDPR), and Oracle Cloud services.
• Documentation: Clearly document code, technical decisions, and processes to support continuous delivery, team knowledge sharing, and compliance needs.
