Job Title: QA Engineer (Manual / E-Commerce)

Location: Bangalore, India

Experience: 7+ Years (with 3+ years in e-commerce/manual testing)

Employment Type: Full Time

Requirements & Qualifications

Must have:

  • Bachelors degree in BE / B.Tech / MCA / Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in manual testing, with at least 3 years in e-commerce or web applications.
  • Strong knowledge of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), test planning, test case design, execution, and reporting.
  • Experience with defect tracking (e.g. JIRA, Bugzilla) and test management tools (e.g. TestRail, Zephyr).
  • Good understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), relational databases, and SQL for backend verification.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (verbal & written).
  • Attention to detail and ability to spot edge cases.
  • Ability to work in Agile / Scrum environments and adapt to changing requirements.

Preferred / Nice to have:

  • Exposure to API testing (e.g. Postman, REST).
  • Familiarity with automation frameworks or tools (Selenium, Cypress, etc.).
  • Experience with performance, usability, cross-browser, or mobile testing.
  • Understanding of e-commerce domain workflows: product catalog, search, filtering, cart, checkout, payment gateways, promotions, returns.
  • Experience in CI/CD / DevOps / pipeline integration of tests.
  • Knowledge of security testing, accessibility, or performance testing tools.
