JOB Description

As a Project Manager at BeeS Software Solutions, you will lead software implementation or development projects (especially in education automation) from initiation to delivery. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage stakeholders (internal and client), and ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and with high quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Initiation
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders (e.g., university admin or examination departments) to gather and clarify requirements.
• Identify and organize resources (developers, QA, UI/UX, operations) required for the project.
• Execution & Monitoring
• Oversee the day-to-day execution of the project: coordinating the team, sprint planning, task assignment, and backlog prioritization (if Agile).
• Track project progress using tools (Jira, Trello, MS Project, or similar).
• Monitor key performance metrics / KPIs (time, quality, budget, scope).
• Identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks proactively.
• Stakeholder Management
• Serve as the primary liaison between BeeS internal teams (development, QA, support) and the client's stakeholders (institution leadership, admin, end-users).
• Provide regular project status updates: report progress, roadblocks, dependencies, and change requests.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment between client goals and project delivery.
• Quality & Delivery
• Ensure that deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
• Coordinate with QA / testing teams to plan and execute test cycles.
• Lead project delivery and deployment activities, ensuring smooth rollout (on-premise or cloud) of BeeS products (e.g., Cloudilya).
• Risk & Change Management
• Identify project risks (technical, resource, schedule) and develop risk management plans.
• Handle change requests: assess impact (scope, timeline, cost), communicate to relevant stakeholders, and implement approved changes.
• Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain project documentation: project charter, plan, requirement specs, meeting minutes, status reports, risk logs, and post-implementation reviews.
• Conduct periodic reviews / retrospectives (especially in Agile) to capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement.
• Team Leadership & Coordination
• Build and lead a high-performing project team.
• Motivate team members, resolve conflicts, and facilitate collaboration.
• Ensure that team members have clarity on roles, responsibilities, and deliverables.
• Process Improvement
• Recommend and implement best practices / process improvements in project management.
• Conduct "lessons learned" sessions and identify areas of improvement for future projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. (Master's / MBA is a plus.)
• Experience: Several years (typically 5+ depending on level) of project management experience in software development, preferably in the education domain or ERP implementations.
• Technical Knowledge:
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
• Understanding of web / cloud technologies (Cloudilya is cloud-based).
• Comfortable working with APIs, databases, and integration concepts (if projects involve system integration).
• Tools: Experience with project tracking tools (Jira, Trello, MS Project, etc.).
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication; able to interact with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders (university administrators, etc.).
• Leadership: Strong leadership, team-building, and conflict resolution skills.
• Risk Management: Proven ability to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
• Problem-Solving: High analytical thinking and problem-solving capability.
• Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹900, ₹2,474,662.66 per year
