Position: Accountant

Location: Kilpauk, Chennai

Compensation: ₹30,000 – ₹35,000 per month

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team and assume a leadership role in managing the company's accounting function. The candidate will be responsible for handling end-to-end accounts, statutory compliance, and reporting. This role will be Work From Home (WFH) for the next 4 months (due to office renovation) and will transition to on-site work in Kilpauk from January.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations using Tally.
• Handle TDS, GST, PF, and PT filings and compliance.
• Maintain accurate financial records and prepare MIS reports.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, and statutory authorities.
• Lead and mentor junior staff in accounting tasks.
• Ensure timely closing of accounts and statutory returns.
• Support management with financial planning and control.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Accounting or equivalent.
• Experience: 4–5 years of hands-on accounting experience.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Tally ERP, GST, TDS, PF, and PT compliance.
• Soft Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Work Mode

• WFH: For the next 4 months (till December).
• Work from Office: From January, at our Kilpauk office.
