Role Overview

Kapoor Glass is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Control Manager to oversee and strengthen QC operations across two manufacturing facilities. The role requires a strong understanding of high-precision, mass-produced components and deep familiarity with pharmaceutical or similarly regulated industries. The QC Manager will ensure that all products consistently meet stringent international quality standards and will act as a key representative during customer audits, especially from global export clients.

Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Control & Assurance

  • Lead and manage QC teams across both manufacturing plants, ensuring consistent application of quality standards.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve quality control procedures, sampling plans, and inspection protocols.
  • Ensure all glass packaging meets international pharmaceutical packaging requirements, including dimensional accuracy, cosmetic standards, and defect-free performance.
  • Oversee in-process and final product inspection activities to ensure uniformity across plants.

Regulatory & Compliance

  • Maintain compliance with cGMP, ISO standards, DMF requirements, and other applicable global regulatory frameworks.
  • Prepare and maintain all quality-related documentation, records, and control charts.

Customer Audits & Support

  • Act as the primary quality representative during customer audits (onsite and virtual).
  • Address customer concerns, CAPAs, and quality-related queries promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure audit readiness of both plants at all times.

Continuous Improvement

  • Drive defect reduction and process improvement projects using root cause analysis, statistical tools, and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and R&D teams to resolve quality issues and enhance process capability.

Team Leadership

  • Train, guide, and mentor QC personnel across both plants.
  • Build a culture of quality awareness and discipline across shifts and departments.

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of experience in Quality Control within the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector or high-precision, mass-produced products (e.g., packaging, automotive components, electronics).
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Strong understanding of glass packaging, material defects, inspection systems, and quality tools (FMEA, SPC, RCA, 8D, etc.).
  • Proven experience facing export customers and handling third-party and client audits.
  • Ability to work across multiple plant locations and manage large QC teams.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
