We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in accounting principles, practical experience with Tally ERP software, and a thorough understanding of GST regulations. Prior experience in banking operations will be considered an added advantage. This role demands accuracy, analytical thinking, and the ability to efficiently handle multiple accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records and prepare financial statements compliant with statutory regulations.
  • Manage day-to-day accounting tasks such as ledger posting, bank reconciliation, and preparation of trial balance.
  • Handle GST filings and compliance, ensuring timely submission of returns and adherence to tax laws.
  • Utilize Tally ERP for bookkeeping, invoicing, and maintaining accounts.
  • Prepare and analyze budgets, cash flow statements, and financial reports.
  • Assist in audit processes by preparing documentation and coordinating with auditors.
  • Coordinate with banks for account reconciliation, payments, and other banking transactions.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable to ensure timely collections and payments.
  • Support finance team during month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting-related regulations.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficiency in Tally ERP (mandatory).
  • Strong knowledge of GST regulations and filing procedures.
  • Sound understanding of accounting principles and best practices.
  • Experience with banking operations and reconciliation is an advantage.
  • Excellent numerical, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities.

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelors degree in Commerce (B.Com) or Master's degree in Commerce (M.Com) from a recognized university.
  • Additional certifications in accounting or taxation are a plus.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Hands-on experience with GST filings and Tally ERP software.
  • Exposure to banking operations preferred.
