Job Summary:

The Financial Controller will oversee all financial operations of the organization, including accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls. The role requires strong leadership, strategic financial planning, and the ability to ensure accuracy, transparency, and efficiency in all financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the finance and accounts team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements, MIS reports, and monthly/annual accounts.
  • Develop and monitor budgets, financial forecasts, and cash-flow projections.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other regulatory filings.
  • Maintain strong internal controls, financial policies, and audit processes.
  • Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and ensure timely completion.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance; provide strategic recommendations to management.
  • Optimize financial processes to improve accuracy, efficiency, and profitability.
  • Supervise bank reconciliations, vendor payments, receivables, and treasury functions.
  • Support leadership in financial planning, investment decisions, and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting for management and stakeholders.
  • Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance.
  • Expertise in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Proficient in Tally ERP, SAP, or other financial software; advanced Excel skills.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail, integrity, and accountability.

Qualification:

  • CA / CMA preferred.
  • MBA (Finance) or Master's in Accounting/Commerce (M.Com) is an advantage.
  • 7–10 years of experience in financial management, controlling, or senior accounting roles.
