Job Title: Python Developer Skill Matrix (PySpark-Focused)

Location: Kolkata

Qualification: B.Tech / B.E. or equivalent is basic requirement

Experience: Overall IT experience 5+ and minimum experience of 2+ years hands on Python

Core Skills

  • PySpark – Must Have
  • Strong understanding of Python syntax, data structures, and OOP – Must Have
  • Experience with virtual environments and dependency management (e.g., Poetry, pip) – Good to Have
  • Python Packaging – Nice to Have
  • Authorization and Authentication in Python – Good to Have
  • Ag-grid or any other GRID technology – Nice to Have
  • Python Dash with Dash Plotly – Good to Have

Web Development

  • Proficiency with FastAPI (or similar frameworks like Flask, Django) – Good to Have
  • Knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation – Good to Have
  • Middleware and router configuration – Good to Have
  • Request/response handling and validation – Good to Have

Security

  • Authentication and authorization (custom middleware, JWT, OAuth) – Good to Have
  • Secure handling of environment variables and secrets – Must Have
  • Awareness of HTTP/HTTPS and related security warnings – Good to Have

Environment & Deployment

  • Experience with environment configuration (dotenv, environment variables) – Must Have
  • Familiarity with ASGI servers (Uvicorn, Gunicorn) – Good to Have
  • Basic Docker and containerization knowledge – Good to Have
  • Debugging and logging (custom loggers, error handling) – Must Have
