Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant with strong SAP system knowledge to support financial operations, ensure accurate reporting, and maintain compliance with internal and external standards. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day accounting tasks while leveraging SAP to optimize processes and improve overall financial efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily accounting activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
  • Perform SAP module activities such as data entry, posting journal entries, running reports, and ensuring data accuracy.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely submission of financial records.
  • Analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and provide corrective recommendations.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to support audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain and update financial documentation, reports, and records within SAP.
  • Assist in process improvement initiatives, particularly related to SAP workflows and financial automation.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of accounting experience (experience range can be adjusted based on your requirement).
  • Hands-on experience with
    SAP FI/CO
    modules (or specify the required module).
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other financial tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills (Optional)

  • Experience with other ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of tax regulations, compliance, and audit processes.
  • Professional certifications (CA, CMA, CPA, or equivalent) are a plus.
