A) General/Project Information Position / Designation to fill Java Developer No. of positions : 2 Assignment Location Offshore (India) Base location: Kolkata / Mumbai / Remote B) Job Description Scope of work  Developing and unit testing components/ services in Java/AWS  Unit testing developed components using Junit  Understanding the requirement from client meetings, functional documents, developing necessary components, unit testing, bug fixing, Integration testing and UAT support  Identifying performance issues if any in the developed components/systems, rectifying those
Responsibility  Developing components following best practices, pro-active, ready to deliver with minimal assistance  Effectively contribute in the design, architecting activities  Be an excellent problem solver and be willing to roll up sleeves to tackle any issue thrown on the way  Creating documentation, monitoring logs, resolving issues  Understand and embrace our core values: Transparency, Accountable, Generous, Fun, Empathetic and Exceptional
C) Skills Required Essential Skills  Must have in depth knowledge of Java 1.8, Java Spring framework, Spring-Boot  Must have in depth knowledge to develop REST Microservices inSpring-Boot  Must have knowledge of Postman/Insomnia and SOAP UI to invoke and test web services  Must have knowledge of Spring JMS,  Must have knowledge of GIT/Bitbucket  Must have in depth knowledge of DynamoDB  Must have working knowledge of Cloud Watch  Must have working knowledge of AWS SQS and SNS. How to poll and verify data in SQS  Must have knowledge of AWS S3, API Gateway, Parameter Store Desired Skills  Nice to have knowledge of SOAP webservices  Nice to have knowledge of Spring Cloud  Experience working with cloud-based backend systems  Experience working remotely with a distributed global team  Knowledge of Jira  Good client communication
D) Other Information Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree/MCA Experience : 3– 6 years
