This role focuses on driving growth in equity-based investment products by building strong, trust-led relationships with high-net-worth individuals (HNIs). As part of a wealth management and portfolio advisory function, you will play a critical role in understanding client financial goals, assessing risk profiles, and delivering tailored investment solutions. The position combines relationship management, sales ownership, and portfolio advisory, with a strong emphasis on Assets Under Management (AUM) growth and long-term client engagement.

Requirements
Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales of equity-focused investment products, including Portfolio Management Services (PMS) and advisory offerings
  • Identify and onboard HNI clients by leveraging personal networks, referrals, and market opportunities
  • Understand client financial objectives, risk appetite, and investment horizons to recommend suitable portfolio strategies
  • Build and manage a robust book of business with a focus on increasing and retaining AUM
  • Provide timely market insights, portfolio updates, and performance reviews to clients to maintain confidence and transparency
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly business targets aligned with organizational goals
  • Monitor equity markets, stock performance, and broader market trends to refine investment recommendations
  • Maintain strong coordination with internal teams to ensure seamless execution, reporting, and client servicing
  • Share regular progress updates, pipeline status, and performance reports with reporting managers
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical investment practices

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Proven experience in direct selling of financial products, particularly PMS, equity advisory, or wealth management solutions
  • Demonstrated capability in handling HNI clients and managing significant AUM, ideally ₹20 crore or above
  • Strong understanding of equity markets, stocks, portfolio construction, and risk-return dynamics
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly and confidently
  • Relationship-driven mindset with the ability to build long-term client trust and loyalty
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and proactive in identifying new business opportunities
  • Positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills and professional presence
  • Graduate or postgraduate qualification with a solid foundation in finance, economics, or related fields
