Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled
SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud FICO Consultant
to join us on a contract basis at our
Hyderabad, India
location. This role is ideal for professionals with
5–8 years of SAP FICO experience
, including hands-on involvement in
SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementations
. You'll be responsible for driving end-to-end finance transformation while collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring solution excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud FICO implementations, rollouts, and support.
  • Gather and document business requirements, perform fit-gap analysis, and create functional specs.
  • Configure and enhance FICO modules: GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Center, Profit Center, Profitability Analysis, Legal Fiscal Reporting, FSV
  • Manage master data migration via
    Migration Cockpit
    .
  • Experience in Intercompany business process mapping
  • Hands-on with
    Finance-related integrations
    (Bank Communication Management, External Tax engines, Payroll, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of integration points and Public APIs to integrate with 3rd party applications
  • Work closely with stakeholders and other SAP teams (SD, MM, PS, PM, SM etc.) for integrated process delivery.
  • Support testing, data migration, cutover planning, and post-go-live support.
  • Build cutover strategy and drive cutover execution
  • Provide user training and create process documentation.
  • Stay updated on SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud releases and promote adoption of SAP best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5–8 years of experience in SAP FICO, with
    minimum 1–2 full-cycle S/4HANA Public Cloud implementations
    .
  • Strong understanding of financial business processes (P2P, O2C, R2R) and statutory compliance in India (e.g., GST, TDS).
  • Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology, Fit-to-Standard approach, and Fiori-based user experience.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SAP S/4HANA Finance Certification (Public Cloud preferred).
  • Exposure to tools like SAP Analytics Cloud, Group Reporting, or SAP BTP (desirable but not mandatory).
