Role Description: Varicent Technical Analyst / Consultant

Location: Pan India (On-Site)

Experience: 4+ Years

Notice Period: Immediate joiner

Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview:

Varicent Configuration & Development

  • Design, build, and maintain Varicent compensation models, including:
  • Credit rules
  • Calculation logic
  • Incentive plans
  • Hierarchies and territories
  • Develop and optimize Varicent formulas, expressions, and workflows
  • Configure reports, dashboards, and analytics for compensation results

Data Integration & Management

  • Design and support data integrations between Varicent and source systems (CRM, ERP, HRIS, data warehouses)
  • Validate, reconcile, and troubleshoot compensation data
  • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and auditability

Business Analysis & Consulting

  • Gather and document business requirements for compensation plans and reporting
  • Translate business rules into technical Varicent solutions
  • Advise stakeholders on best practices for incentive design and system usage

Testing & Deployment

  • Perform unit testing, system testing, and UAT support
  • Support compensation cycles (monthly, quarterly, annual)
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement fixes under tight deadlines

Support & Optimization

  • Provide ongoing production support for Varicent environments
  • Identify performance improvements and process automation opportunities
  • Support plan changes, acquisitions, or organizational restructuring

Documentation & Governance

  • Maintain technical documentation for models, integrations, and calculations
  • Support audit requirements and SOX controls where applicable
  • Follow change management and release processes
