About the Role:

We are seeking a Cloud Operations Lead to oversee the design, implementation, and management of cloud infrastructure and operations. You will lead a team responsible for cloud reliability, security, cost optimization, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cloud Strategy & Governance: Define and implement cloud operational policies, standards, and best practices.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of cloud engineers, DevOps specialists, and operations staff.
  • Infrastructure Management: Oversee cloud infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and scaling across AWS, Azure, GCP, or hybrid environments.
  • Monitoring & Reliability: Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of cloud services through monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
  • Security & Compliance: Implement cloud security best practices, manage access controls, and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
  • Cost Optimization: Monitor cloud spend and optimize resource utilization.
  • Automation & CI/CD: Promote automation for deployment, configuration, and operational tasks.
  • Collaboration: Work with development, product, and business teams to align cloud operations with business objectives.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Certifications in AWS, Azure, GCP, or DevOps.
  • Experience in cost optimization and cloud financial management.
  • Familiarity with multi-region, distributed cloud architectures.
  • Experience with agile, lean, and site reliability practices.
