The Opportunity

We are seeking a
proactive and highly communicative Junior Business Analyst
to join our team, focusing specifically on our core payment products and systems. This is an exciting role for a detail-oriented individual with 1-2 years of relevant experience who is eager to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions in the dynamic world of payments.

Key Responsibilities

As a Junior Business Analyst, you will be instrumental in supporting the development and optimization of our payment processing systems. Your main duties will include:

1. Requirements Management & Documentation

• Elicitation:
  Collaborate with stakeholders (e.g., Product Managers, Engineering, Operations, Compliance) to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for payment-related projects.
• Artifact Creation:
  Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Specification Documents (FSDs), process flow diagrams, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Payments Expertise:
  Utilize your existing knowledge of payment methods, systems (e.g., acquiring, issuing, card schemes, ACH/SEPA, fraud), and industry standards to inform requirement discussions.

2. Communication & Stakeholder Alignment

• Exceptional Communication:
  Act as the primary liaison between business teams and technical delivery teams, translating complex technical concepts into clear, concise business language and vice-versa.
• Proactive Follow-up:
  Proactively communicate status updates, potential roadblocks, and risks to stakeholders, ensuring everyone is aligned and informed throughout the project lifecycle.
• Facilitation:
  Lead and facilitate productive requirement gathering workshops, review meetings, and sign-offs.

3. Analysis & Problem Solving

• Process Mapping:
  Analyze and document current 'As-Is' payment processes and design efficient 'To-Be' future-state processes.
• Data Analysis:
  Support the team in analyzing payment transaction data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for optimization.
• Quality Assurance Support:
  Collaborate with QA teams to develop test plans and validate that the final product meets the defined business requirements and payment industry standards.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience:
  1-2 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst, Associate BA, or a similar role.
• Industry Knowledge:
  Demonstrable experience working within the payments industry
  (e.g., at a FinTech, Bank, PSP/Acquirer, or E-commerce platform), showing familiarity with transaction lifecycles, payment methods, or regulatory aspects.
• Communication:
  Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

• Proactivity:
