Analog IC Design Manager

The High Speed Amplifiers team, is looking for an experienced, highly driven, technically motivated candidate to lead IC Design in Bangalore, IN. We work on high speed amplifiers right from 50MHz all the way to a few GHz specializing both bipolar and CMOS amplifiers with an element of precision. We are now making our foray into diverse signal-chain based ASSPs right from High speed Laser Current drivers, Log Amplifiers, VGAs, PD & APD Front ends with specifications strongly driven in collaboration with End equipment and end customers. We develop cutting edge, highly differentiated parts across Industrial & Automotive strongly rooted in circuit design. This team has full product development responsibility from definition till releasing product to market and the design lead/manager is expected to drive flawless design execution and support product design from definition till release to the market and beyond. As a design lead/manager, you will be the technical leader in discussions with key stakeholders (internal and external) on critical issues and requirements. We take pride in challenging norms & executing innovative ideas into products, sometimes with aggressive, customer-driven timelines.

• To work with and build strong influential relationships with the best experts in the industry on High-speed designs, pushing the limits on circuit design with several devices targeted for state of the art precision and noise.
• To develop capability to work effectively in a technically challenging fast-paced and rapidly changing environment, as we develop ASSPs targeted towards very unique EEs and Customers
• To manage and lead product development in new cutting Analog Bipolar and CMOS Technologies, build insight into process technologies and components, develop circuits and verification methodologies and influence decisions that have wide business impact across many products & teams, while learning to identify risks across domains and adapt to support changing priorities.
• To develop good communication, interpersonal skills while interacting with worldwide cross functional experts
• To manage and mentor design engineers/interns and grow their career.
• To directly influence the features, differentiation & cost entitlement of the product at release to market. To present analysis and conclusions to internal customers and business leaders in a comprehensive and effective manner.
• To learn and develop business insights, drive open discussions with business & technology leaders and drive decisions impacting product & technology execution
• An opportunity to work with Fabs, assembly & test facilities with full visibility on the development cycle, Qualification and Manufacturing flows

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications:

• Experience in Managing design teams. Full Product development experience preferred
• Strong Electrical engineering fundamentals & basic analog building blocks.
• Experience in design of Analog & Power Management Circuits & High-speed and bipolar Design concepts with a proven track record of analytical and problem solving skills
• Experience in leading full chip activity like circuit block spec definition, top-level simulations, design verification, design for test and layout.
• Understanding of DV flows & tools, as well as ability to quickly ramp on new systems and processes
• Good mentoring, communication, presentation skills and team work
• Good grasp of basic digital design fundamentals
• Work will involve cross functional teams so good interpersonal and communication skills to work across functions and sites will be of value
• Strong execution focus with a natural inclination to take initiative and drive for results while delivering projects on time
• Bachelors / Masters in Electrical / Electronics Engineering with 8+ years experience in industry
