As a Founding Frontend Engineer at Cenna, you will lead the creation of intuitive, high-performance user interfaces for our agentic services platform. Your work will define the user experience, ensuring our AI-powered products are accessible, responsive, and visually compelling.

Responsibilities
  • Design and build responsive, user-friendly interfaces using modern frontend technologies for production environments
  • Implement pixel-perfect designs that align with product vision and user needs
  • Optimize frontend performance for speed, scalability, and accessibility in production systems
  • Collaborate with backend and AI engineers to integrate APIs and AI-driven features into live applications
  • Work with product and design teams to iterate on UI/UX based on user feedback and production metrics
  • Establish frontend architecture, coding standards, and best practices for production-grade systems
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence
Requirements
  • 5+ years of frontend development experience with proven track record of shipping and maintaining production-level systems
  • Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks like React, , or in production environments
  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and modern UI libraries (e.g., Tailwind, Material-UI, Shadcn)
  • Experience with state management (Redux, Zustand, or similar) in large-scale production applications
  • Demonstrated experience building, deploying, and maintaining user-facing production systems at scale
  • Knowledge of web performance optimization and accessibility standards applied to real-world production scenarios
  • Experience with monitoring, debugging, and optimizing production frontend applications
  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot production issues
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Nice to Have
  • Experience building production interfaces for AI-driven or data-intensive applications
  • Knowledge of WebGL, animations, or advanced visualization techniques deployed at scale
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines for frontend deployment to production environments
  • Track record of handling production incidents and implementing preventive measures
  • Contributions to open-source frontend projects used in production
  • Prior experience in a startup or rapid-growth environment shipping production features rapidly
