Job Overview:

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Cashier to manage billing and financial transactions at our jewellery outlet in Dhanbad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling all customer payments, maintaining cash register accuracy, and ensuring a smooth and secure billing process while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the POS (Point of Sale) system to process all customer transactions accurately.
  • Handle cash, credit/debit card payments, UPI, and other digital payment methods securely.
  • Generate and issue invoices, receipts, and credit notes to customers.
  • Balance the cash register and prepare daily transaction reports.
  • Coordinate with the sales team to ensure proper billing of sold jewellery items.
  • Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with company policy.
  • Maintain records of daily sales, cash flow, and banking transactions.
  • Ensure security and accuracy in handling jewellery billing and documentation.
  • Provide courteous service and assist with customer queries related to billing.
  • Report any discrepancies or system issues to the boutique manager immediately.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a cashier or billing role, preferably in retail or jewellery sector.
  • Graduate in Commerce or related field preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and POS software.
  • Strong numerical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Trustworthy, organized, and customer-focused.
  • Proficient in Hindi and basic English communication.
  • Must be based in or willing to relocate to Dhanbad.
