Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior developers and architects to design and develop robust and scalable data processing applications using Apache Spark.
  • Write efficient, testable, and maintainable code primarily in Java, transitioning to Spark as you gain expertise.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment of Spark applications.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize Spark jobs for performance and efficiency.
  • Actively learn and apply new big data technologies and methodologies under the guidance of the team.
  • Contribute to the overall software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and support.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 4-5 years of strong hands-on experience in Java development.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
  • Experience with relational databases and SQL.
  • Strong eagerness and a positive attitude towards learning new technologies, especially Apache Spark.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
