Job Summary:

Transportation Planner
to support transport planning and traffic engineering projects including traffic impact assessments, transportation master plans, and road safety studies. The role involves data collection, traffic modeling, and preparation of technical reports and drawings under the guidance of senior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct data collection and analysis for transport planning and traffic studies (e.g., traffic counts, O-D matrices).
  • Support traffic model development and simulations for non-complex projects.
  • Prepare and review transportation and traffic impact study reports.
  • Develop circulation, parking, and signage plans.
  • Coordinate with clients and authorities for technical clarifications.
  • Ensure high-quality, timely, and cost-effective project deliverables.
  • Participate in knowledge sharing and attend relevant training programs.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education:
    Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
  • Experience:
    4-12 Years

  • Software Knowledge:
    VISUM(Mandatory ), VISSIM, Synchro, SIDRA, AutoTURN, CUBE, HCS, or similar tools.

  • Skills:

  • Strong analytical and modeling skills.
  • Understanding of transport and land-use planning principles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English (Arabic is an advantage).
