Job Title: Visiting Faculty – 3D, VFX & Game Development (MAAC Vesu)

Location: MAAC Vesu, Surat

Job Type: Part-Time / Visiting Faculty

Experience: Industry Experience Required

About the Role

MAAC Vesu is looking for a skilled and experienced Visiting Faculty to train students in 3D Animation, VFX, and Game Development. The ideal candidate must have strong production knowledge, hands-on experience with industry-standard software, and a passion for teaching.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach and guide students in 3D, VFX, and Game Development workflows.
  • Deliver sessions on tools such as:
  • Unity
  • Unreal Engine
  • Blender
  • Autodesk Maya
  • 3ds Max
  • Substance Painter & Substance Designer
  • Provide practical, industry-level insights to students.
  • Assist students with projects, assignments, and portfolio development.
  • Maintain high academic standards in the classroom.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and software updates.

Required Skills & Expertise

  • Strong production-level experience in Animation, VFX, or Game Development.
  • Proficiency in multiple tools such as Unity, Unreal, Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, Substance Suite, etc.
  • Good understanding of 3D pipeline, texturing, lighting, rendering, and game mechanics.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts for students.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Minimum 1–3 years of real industry experience (studio or production environment).
  • Prior teaching or training experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Passion for mentoring students and sharing real-world knowledge.
