Job Description SummaryWe are looking for HMI & SCADA Engineer to join our dynamic and skilled team, based in Noida, India. Systems designed by GE Vernova Grid Solutions are utilized at electrical substations globally. You take an active role in the creation and maintenance of SCADA system based on requirements of customers from different regions. In addition, you will be responsible for designing SCADA systems, preparing specifications and configurations for our products and solutions, and integrating communicating systems to our products.​We offer:Working in PDG, with opportunities for learning and professional career development:Strong support from the team and co-operation with other CoEs globallyInspiring environment among young peopleFlexible working hoursBenefits of big companyOpportunity to work with Tampere (Finland) office.Job DescriptionRole and Responsibilities:Develop and establish cyber security processesParticipate in technical negotiations with end customers and other stakeholdersCollaborate with other cyber security specialists in GE units around the worldProduce high quality documents and specificationsSupport equipment sourcing (technical inputs, equipment evaluation)Contribute sales and R&D activitiesDesign, configure and develop HMI & SCADA applicationsPerform Cyber Security & SCADA system validation and factory acceptance test (FAT).Support SCADA system engineering tasks including but not limited to SCADA systems database configurations, upgrades / modifications, communication network configurations, firewall & cyber security configurations and testing the control system configuration on mirror platformsPlan, Specify, Organize and participate testing in laboratory and at siteQualifications/Requirements:3+ years of Experience with Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineeringStrong Knowledge in substation communication protocols (eg. IEC61850, DNP3, IEC /101).Good Knowledge of HMIs and SCADA Gateways and understanding of their concepts.Knowledge of Network Security / Hardening, Whitelisting and Cybersecurity best practices.Knowledge in network management protocols like SNMP.Fluent written and oral skills in English; Finnish and other languages are benefitAbility to global travel >50% Desired Characteristics:Team player with hands-on attitudePassion to develop new solutionsStrong communication skillsAbility to work in groups as well as individuallyCurious, open-minded and willingness to learnAdaptive with problem-solving skillsMake things happen mentalityDesire to work in international environmentAdditional Information Relocation Assistance Provided: Yes
