About the Role

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Laravel Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Laravel and PHP-based web application development. Knowledge of WordPress theme/plugin development will be considered a plus.

You will be responsible for developing robust back-end systems, integrating APIs, and ensuring seamless front-end functionality with clean, maintainable code.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Laravel and PHP.

  • Build reusable, testable, and efficient code following best practices.

  • Collaborate with designers and product teams to translate requirements into functional solutions.

  • Develop and consume RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.

  • Manage databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) including schema design, optimization, and queries.

  • Maintain existing WordPress sites — develop or customize themes and plugins as needed.

  • Work with version control systems like Git and deployment pipelines.

  • Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and code optimization.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of hands-on experience with PHP and Laravel.

  • Good understanding of WordPress (themes, plugins, and customization).

  • Strong in MySQL/SQL queries and OOP concepts.

  • Familiar with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript).

  • Experience with API integration and third-party service connections.

  • Basic understanding of security, authentication, and web performance.

  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

  • Preferred: Kolkata-based candidates.

Good to Have

  • Experience with Shopify theme customization or other CMS platforms.

  • Familiarity with version control (Git), Docker, and CI/CD.

  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum workflow and DevOps tools (cPanel, WHM, AWS, DigitalOcean).
