Basic Qualifications

  • First class with Minimum Bachelor's in Commerce, (candidates completing 3 years of B.Com (H) and exiting post third year are eligible) or equivalent from a NAAC accredited GRADE A college.
  • Compulsory subjects: Accounting and Taxation
  • No active backlogs
  • Minimum of 60% and above or equivalent CGPA at the time of commencement of employment.

Competencies/Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)
  • Strong learning abilities and application skills
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office
  • Ability to work as an effective team player
  • Motivated to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Client focused
  • Ability to multitask

Responsibilities include:

  • Understanding clients' needs and expectations, their business and industry, accounting and control systems, company values and industry-related GAAP and GAAS issues
  • Developing an understanding of the RSM audit approach and tools
  • Assessing risks and evaluating the client's internal control structure
  • Performing substantive tests and tests of internal controls to identify and resolve accounting or reporting issues
  • Drafting financial statements under prescribed formats
