Qualification: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

Requirements:

  • Design and develop logical and physical database models aligned with business needs.
  • Implement and configure databases, tables, views, and stored procedures.
  • Monitor and optimize database performance, tuning queries and resolving bottlenecks.
  • Implement database security, including access controls, encryption, and compliance measures.
  • Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery strategies, ensuring data continuity.
  • Design and implement data integration mechanisms across systems, ensuring consistency.
  • Plan and execute strategies for scalability and high availability (sharding, replication, failover).
  • Lead data migration projects, validating data integrity post-migration.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation for schemas, data flows, and specifications.
  • Collaborate with developers, system admins, and stakeholders to align database architecture.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database issues related to errors, performance, and data inconsistencies.
  • Strong knowledge of RDBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra).
  • Proficient in SQL, database query optimization, indexing, and ETL processes.
  • Experience with cloud database platforms like AWS RDS, Azure SQL, or Google Cloud SQL.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Relevant database certifications are a plus.
