As a
Video Editor
at TripIQ, you will be responsible for crafting visually stunning and professionally edited video content that will captivate travelers on our Instagram Reels and YouTube channels. You should possess
expert-level skills in video editing
along with a deep understanding of
camera angles, shot composition
, and
filming techniques
to ensure our content not only looks great but tells compelling stories.

Key Responsibilities

• High-Quality Video Editing
  :
• Edit raw footage into polished, cinematic-quality videos for Instagram Reels and YouTube, ensuring they are engaging, visually striking, and aligned with TripIQ's brand identity.
• Advanced Camera Techniques
  :
• Understand and implement expert camera angles and shots (wide shots, close-ups, tracking shots, etc.) to capture the essence of each travel experience in a dynamic and appealing manner.
• Composition & Framing
  :
• Apply principles of composition (rule of thirds, leading lines, symmetry, etc.) to create aesthetically pleasing shots. Your eye for detail will help deliver shots that are not only beautiful but also tell a compelling story.
• Lighting and Cinematic Techniques
  :
• Apply cinematic lighting techniques to enhance the visual quality of videos. Collaborate with on-location teams to ensure proper lighting setups, even if you're working with pre-shot footage.
• Optimize for Platform-Specific Formats
  :
• Tailor video content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and long-form YouTube videos, ensuring they fit platform-specific requirements for aspect ratios, length, pacing, and engagement strategies.
• Post-Production Excellence
  :
• Conduct professional-grade post-production work including color grading, sound design, audio syncing, transitions, and visual effects to ensure videos meet the highest quality standards.
• Engage with Brand Messaging
  :
• Collaborate with content creators and the marketing team to deliver videos that align with the brand's voice and resonate with our audience, maintaining a balance between creative expression and business objectives.
• Stay Ahead of Industry Trends
  :
• Keep up-to-date with the latest video editing trends, camera techniques, and social media best practices to ensure TripIQ's content stays innovative and relevant.

Skills & Qualifications

• Expert Video Editing Skills
  :
• Advanced proficiency in video editing software like
  Adobe Premiere Pro
  ,
  Final Cut Pro
  , or similar tools. Strong portfolio demonstrating your ability to edit high-quality videos for Instagram Reels and YouTube.
• Expert Knowledge of Camera Angles & Shot Composition

• Proven ability to work with diverse camera angles (high, low, tracking shots, etc.) and understand framing, lighting, and the application of different shot compositions to tell stories effectively.
• Cinematic Lighting & Visual Storytelling
  :
• Hands-on experience with cinematic lighting techniques (key lighting, fill lighting, backlighting) to create professional, visually engaging content.
• Creative Eye for Detail
  :
• An impeccable eye for detail in color grading, transitions, and visual effects. A strong understanding of how editing can elevate the viewer's experience.
• Understanding of Social Media & Platform Best Practices
  :
• Strong knowledge of current trends in travel content on platforms like Instagram and YouTube. Ability to adapt video content to optimize performance on these platforms.
• Excellent Communication & Collaboration
  :
• Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, design, content) to bring concepts and ideas to life.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a video editor, with specific expertise in social media content creation (Instagram Reels, YouTube).
• A background in
  filmmaking or cinematography
  would be a plus, especially if you've worked with camera setups and on-location shoots.
