IED Communications Ltd., the organiser of Automation Expo and Automation Expo South, is looking for a Telemarketer to make outbound calls, promote the event, and help convert leads into exhibitors, visitors, and VIP participants.
If you enjoy speaking with people and want to work with India's largest automation exhibition, this role is for you.
Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to companies from our database.
- Explain event details, booth options, and registration process.
- Generate interest and convert leads into exhibitor enquiries or visitor registrations.
- Follow up with warm leads and schedule calls for the sales team.
- Maintain call reports and update daily records in Excel/CRM.
- Share event links, brochures, and booth information with prospects.
- Represent the Automation Expo brand professionally at all times.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in telemarketing / telesales / customer calling.
- Strong communication skills in English and Hindi (South Indian languages are an advantage).
- Confident, polite, and persuasive phone manner.
- Ability to handle objections and maintain high call volumes.
- Basic computer skills: Excel, Google Sheets, email.
- Experience in events, exhibitions, industrial sales, or automation is a plus (not mandatory).
