Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Lead to oversee financial operations and drive performance across our Retail and Online Business units. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with a strong commercial mindset, capable of supporting growth, profitability, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting for retail and online segments
  • Perform variance analysis, scenario planning, and KPI tracking to support strategic decisions
  • Provide actionable insights to improve profitability and cost control

2. Business Partnering

  • Act as a finance business partner to sales, marketing, and operations teams
  • Collaborate on pricing strategies, promotional planning, and inventory optimization
  • Support expansion initiatives, including new store openings and digital platform investments

3. Reporting & Compliance

  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Monitor and enforce internal controls, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations
  • Coordinate with external auditors during statutory audits

4. Cash Flow & Working Capital Management

  • Monitor cash flow projections and working capital requirements
  • Optimize inventory and receivables to improve cash conversion cycles

5. Systems & Process Improvements

  • Drive automation and efficiency in financial reporting and analytics
  • Recommend and implement financial systems and tools as needed

Qualifications & Skills

  • Chartered Accountant (CA), MBA Finance, or equivalent qualification
  • Proven experience in a finance leadership role, preferably in retail or eCommerce sectors
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., Zoho, SAP) and financial modeling in Excel
